Air Sampling Systems
Air sampling systems operate by continually sampling the air via a sampling pipe network, and analysing the air through a laser detector. They provide the earliest possible warning of an impending fire hazard, enabling additional time to investigate an alarm and initiate an appropriate response to prevent injury, property damage or business disruption, even minute levels of smoke can be detected before a fire has time to escalate.
Traditionally, air sampling systems were more commonly used in data centres or computer rooms, with the advances in air sampling technology they are now used in any application, in particular applications where point detection is less suited, such as cold rooms, correctional facilities or clean rooms etc.
